Hello there! The Lori Whitlock team is back with our monthly blog hop. You should be arriving here from Corri's blog or if you are just joining in, you can start from the beginning at Lori's blog. :)
Today I have several Valentine's themed projects to share with you using Lori Whitlock's fun cutting files and papers from Pebbles We Go Together collection.
Up first is a little Valentine's Day card and matching gift box...
I used Lori's adorable 3D Mailbox, adding scalloped trim by welding together several of her scalloped borders from her Simple Borders set. I love the extra touch of detail this extra step added!
For the matching card I used one of Lori's 3x4 life cards as a little tag to go inside the life card folders. By sewing up the edges I was able to turn it into a pocket to hide a little message in. I finished off my card with a Pebbles epoxy sticker from the same "We Go Together" collection.
Up next I have a layout I created with the same collection of papers.
The hearts from Lori's Valentines Borders 2 was the perfect shape and size for some Pebbles Be Mine Puffy Heart Stickers I had on hand. For my title I die-cut part of the Valentine's Day Script title and paired it with some October Afternoon stickers which I stitched in place.
I hope I've inspired you to document your Valentine's Day with a mini photo shoot of your own. Just to recap, today I used the following cut files available in Lori's shop:
- 3x4 Life Cards
- 3x4 Life Card Folders
- Simple Borders
- 3D Mailbox
- Flourish Set 4
- A2 Easel Card Heart (for large heart)
- Happy Valentine's Day Script
- Valentines Borders 2
- Heart Flourish (Silhouette store only)
This week you can get 30% off all her and Kolette Hall's amazing cutting files and fonts in her online store using the code "FEB2016" through February 15, 2016. :)
She also is having a sale at Snap.Click.Supply for 30% all her digital products using the code "DIGIFEB16", but you must hurry! The sale is only for today. :)
She is also giving away this awesome cutting today at her shop. If you haven't checked out her newly updated shop, I would recommend going over and taking a peek. ;)
And if that wasn't enough, she is also giving away a $20 gift card to her shop to one lucky winner. Leave a comment on her blog for your chance to win. ;)

ReplyDeleteBeautiful projects my friend! I absolutely love that mailbox!!! Love the scallops along the edge... and I like that cute matching card... I love cards that feature some type of pocket or interactive part so this really made me smile :)
ReplyDeleteThe layout is so pretty and so is your sweet daughter! Gosh she is growing up.... and so beautiful.... love the collection of the papers that you used... the colors are nice and subtle....:)
And on your very first promotion under the blog hop participants... it says, "using the code "FEB2016" through January 18, 2016. :)" and I think you maybe meant for it to say through FEB. 18th.... just in case ya wanted to fix that. :)
