Today I thought I would share two takes on the same card.
For my first card I created a quick and simple version perfect for stampers who don't enjoy coloring or might not have a lot of time or supplies on hand. To add interest I heat embossed the little bugs & winged creatures onto tone-one-tone patterned paper from the collection.
To step up my second card, I stamped the images in black Memento ink onto white cardstock and colored them in with Copic markers, matching my marker colors to the colors found in the patterned paper. For the banner I also colored it with Copics and then heat embossed the sentiment in white. I also added a little die-cut border to the edges of this card for a subtle detail and to create some separation between the two patterned papers.
I hope I've inspired you in your Valentine's Day card making. I'll be back tomorrow with some more ideas as part of Lori Whitlock's February blog hop. Until then, I hope you have a wonderful day! :)
