Pebbles We Go Together Like PB&J Valentine's Day Layout

Hi there!  I'm sharing a layout I recently created featuring Pebbles happy "We Go Together" collection. I love how these papers are perfect for so many things including children's scrapbook layouts!

My daughter has a neighbor boy who she spends a lot of time with, but I didn't want to create a gushy Valentine's Day layout about them.  The darling images in this collection were just what I was looking for to document their special bond.  I love all the different things they paired together like coffee and donuts, macaroni and cheese, peas & carrots. This list could go on and on.  ;)

To balance out those darling peanut butter and jelly jars in my title, I made a fun little heart shaker for the top right corner of my layout, paired with some of the adorable bumblebee stickers.

To recreate the shaker element featured on my layout, I shared a tutorial over on Pebbles blog which you can view HERE.  I also used a wonderful sketch by Juliana Michaels as the inspiration for the paper strips on my page.  :)

I hope you will check out this fun collection!  Thanks so much for stopping by.  :)

Pebbles Home+Made Layout with Custom Background Tutorial

Hello!  How are you?  Today I have a layout to share which was featured on the Pebbles blog a couple weeks ago where I took inspiration from a specific sketch to create my own custom backgrounds using Pebbles newest Home+made collection!

I started with this Sketchy Thursdays sketch which I found on Pinterest.  To re-create the diamond background in the design I turned to my Silhouette software and the diamond nested and 12x12 background shapes.    I chose to follow the sketch pretty closely and embellished with all the fun new thickers, tapes and dies from the collection.

The sticker surface of the label was a little slick and it smeared with my first attempt so I cheated and printed my words on white cardstock which I cut down to perfectly fit inside the label.  ;)

I think the touches of black and gold in this line are so elegant and will be beautiful for so many occasions!
