Hello there! Today I have a trio of cards to share which were all inspired by a single photo (shared below).
My first card using a fun Layered Christmas Tree cutting file by Lori Whitlock which I duplicated and welded together to create my card base (you can see my YoutTube video HERE for more info about creating your own custom shaped cards). I had a blast going on a hunt for various tone-on-tone prints in my 6x6 paper pads. The gold stars were cut from some gold glitter cardstock which I picked up at Joann's.
For my next card, my basic tree shape was cut from my white cardstock panel and then popped up with strips of colored washi tape below. I finished my card off with a sentiment from Lawn Fawn's Bows & Holly Stamp set and little gold star brads.
This is the photo that inspired my set of cards. I was drawn to the bright & non-traditional colors. :)
I created a third card featuring trees cut from felt was published in the December 2014 issue of Paper Crafts & Scrapbooking Magazine and can be seen on Pinterest HERE.
Thanks so much for all the sweet comments that have been left--They always bring a smile to my face. :)
