Hellow and welcome to Lori Whitlock's November blog hop! You should be arriving here from Corri's blog or if you're just joining us you can start from the beginning at Lori's blog. :)
Today I created 3 different cards using Lori's cutting files and the beautiful paper collection she designed for Echo Park called Christmas Cheer.
My first card utilizes one of Lori's many popular box card cut files. I wanted to make use of several of the embellishments from this collection so I used her template for the construction of the card and then embellished the inside with with the mitten and stocking stickers (removing their stickiness by adding cardstock to backs and fussy cutting around them).
For my sentiment I used Lawn Fawn's Winter Fox mini stamp set.
My next card uses on of Lori's card bases featuring a lace border. I love red, black and white with Snowflake motifs! For this card I again embellished it with stickers from the kit and a matching brad. This went together really quickly and would be a great card for mass producing if you switched to a stamped sentiment and a more generic brad.
My last card uses another one of Lori's popular cards styles: The Easel card. I have been making cards for awhile now and I can't believe I haven't tried to make this type of card soon. It is super easy and so much fun! I love all the different ways you can decorate the front and how easy it is to fold flat for mailing.
For my card here I cut my wreath using the Designer Dies pairing it with the bow and pennant stickers from the collection. To embellish I added a little twine, jewels for berries and stamped my sentiment using Technique Tuesday's Christmas Cheer set.
Here's a little picture showing how the card sits like an easel when opened...
To create these unique folding cards I used the following cut files available in Lori's shop:
