I can't tell you how tickled I was to discover the little beaver doodle pop layers perfectly onto the beaver label in the This & That sticker sheet! It's the little things that totally make my day. ;)
For my title I cut the word "Family Fun" to match the "Fall" sticker using the Lobster font. I layered a little forest scene around my title block using a mix of icon stickers, along with some of the new leaf sprinkle shapes. With the help of some foam tape behind some of my images, I was able to create a little extra depth and interest.
I think most of all I adore all the tone-on-tone prints in the line that are perfect for layering and I just know I will get a ton of use from this super versatile collection for years to come!

Wow, Mendi - you know you are a pro, right?!?!?!!!! I adore seeing your projects because you use the products in such fresh and original ways!! So excited about this page - love the way you laid it out and how you used the patterned papers to enhance it!! I just am so glad to follow you and be inspired continually by you!!
ReplyDeleteI just so love your layouts, and Doodlebug is hands down my favorite scrapbook designer. I do have a question. I am fairly new to scrapbooking and have been using a tacky spray adhesive to attach items to my pages that are not already adhesive-backed, but I was wondering what you used, as the tacky spray can be a messy and gets on my fingers and such. I was wondering if there was an easier and better product. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I use a variety of things that I buy with coupons at Michaels. I really like the Scotch Advanced Tape Runner--The initial investment is a bit pricey, but the tape rolls last longer and they are super sticky & strong so a little goes a long way. I also love Beacon's 3-in-1 clear glue (found in the regular adhesive aisle). For a smaller, more portable tape runner I like the Tombo permanent tape runners. Lastly, for small diecuts I use EK Success Chisel tip glue pens. Hope that helps. :)
