I hope you guys are having a great week! As promised, I am back to share another layout I did that I never got around to posting. :)
For this one I pulled out some old paper that I just had to get my hands on way back when and then proceeded to never use it. Ugh! I hate that I do that more often than I should. It's using We R Memory Keepers "White Out" collection.
I diecut the circle and various teeth using my Silhouette machine and then added some glossy accents to make them more realistic and tied a little baker's twine around it for fun.
The title was also cut out on my Silhouette using a true type font and the offset feature to create a shadow (Is it obvious how much I LOVE my Silhouette???) The word smile was stamped with my Technique Tuesday Stamps by Ali Edwards (love those too). :)
I finished the layout off with a circlar rub-on for the center square and some coordinating transparent Basic Grey buttons along the punched border.
Thanks so much for stopping by. :)

DeleteHi Mendi,
ReplyDeleteI found your page through the Two Peas gallery and wanted to let you know that I think your pages are fabulous! I love the colours and embellishments! I hope you don't mind but I have featured this page as an example in my Top 10 Tuesday post this week. You can check it out here: http://www.owlcraftstudio.com/2012/08/top-10-tuesday-favourite-scrapbook.html
Thanks and please keep sharing your wonderful creations!
Angela
I'm flattered! Thank you. :)
DeleteWhat font is "toothless"? I'm always looking for some standard but thick fonts for my Silhouette.
ReplyDeleteThanks,
Jenny
It's called "serifa BT" and I believe I was able to use it in bold for this particular one on the Silhouette Studio software. I honestly don't know where I got this one, but I don't remember buying it so you might do a search to see if it's a free font or one that comes with Microsoft software. If that's the case, you might already have it. ;)
DeleteLove this! Especially the tooth! I see a scraplift in my future! Thanks for sharing, Mendi!
ReplyDeleteWhat an adorable page. I just made a page this morning using a sheet (yellow grid--think it's on the back of that multi-stripe one you used) from this White Out collection...too funny!
