Well, I've had time to nurse my wounds from the rejection and thought it was about time that I share some of my projects I made for the Pebbles Design Team tryouts. Luckily my card already got picked up by Paper Crafts Magazine for their January/February issue so I'm unable to share that with you today, but here are the layouts I made. :)
This is a layout using their ultra happy "HIP HIP HOORAY" collection
And this is a layout I made using their fun "SUNNY SIDE" collection
The funny part about me trying out is that I didn't find out about the call until a week before the deadline and the night I did find out, was the same day I had just purchased 3 of their latest collections without even realizing I might want to use them RIGHT away. Well, I am sad I didn't make the team, but I ended up with several layouts I love either way so it's a win-win, right? :)
I have one more altered project I made for tryouts using their Let Freedom Ring collection, but I think I will hold onto it for a few more months before sharing just in case I can get that one published in Papercrafts too. ;)
Thanks for stopping by! I would love for you to leave a comment saying hello. :D

Mendi!!! I am so glad that you stopped by my blog today- it was great to "see" you again. Thanks, also, for your sweet words. I am glad that we got to meet way back when on my first team. These pages are SO cute and I can't even imagine how much time it took for you to cut ALL of those hexagons! You do such beautiful work I have no doubt you will find success in the future. So, you went back with CW? That was such a fun team to be a part of while it lasted. If only we hadn't moved...
ReplyDeleteWell, I think your layouts are completely beautiful. Some people just have no taste :) Your style manages to be very clean, but detailed at the same time. That's a hard combination to pull off!
ReplyDeleteyour layouts are wonderful. i love them!
