After many weeks of good intentions, I finally found time to play along with this week's Make-it-Monday challenge over at Nichole Heady's blog found here. Betsy showed us how to mask off an area on our cards to allow our sentiments take center stage!
I orginally hadn't planned to have my design so closely resemble Betsy's idea for her card, but after a little stamping accident in my top left-hand corner, I decided a strip of contrasting paper down the side was just what I needed to salvage this project. ;)
I used the "In the Meadow" dies (cut once on each side) to form my curved mask for my sentiment which unfortunately may have been more dramatic had it not been for my boo-boo.

ReplyDeleteI love your card…. I had that exact stamp out to use first. I would never have thought to bend it as you did . Love that idea… very smart! Boo-boos make for great ideas
