Hello and welcome to Lori Whitlock's November blog hop! You should be arriving here from Corri's blog or if you're just joining us you can start from the beginning at Lori's blog. :)
Today I have a layout using The Story of Christmas collection which Lori designed for Echo Park. I just love the rustic charm this collection has with the wood prints sprinkled in!
We have a family tradition of buying a new ornament for each child and ourselves each year with the idea that when the kids move out they will have a number of ornaments to take with them that are full of memories for their own trees someday. I thought Lori's Pine Bough with ornament cutting file was the perfect embellishment to match the look of my photos!
To match my Circle theme. I borrowed the wreath image from Lori's A2 Swinging card file. Then I had fun embellishing it with a real ribbon bow and some pearls for holly berries.
I adore Lori's Deck The Halls phrase, but it wasn't quite the right shape for my page so I used the "the" from it, pairing it with my own custom "deck the halls" phrase using Lori's Abby font.
I hope I've inspired you to document a special Christmas tradition or memory. Just to recap, today I used the following cut files available in Lori's shop:
- Pine Bough and Ornament (Silhouette store only)
- Merry Christmas Deck The Halls
- Swing Through Wreath Card
- LW Abby Font
This week you can get 30% off all her and Kolette Hall's amazing cutting files and fonts using the code "DECEMBER" through December 13, 2015. :)
Snap.Click.Supply is also currently offering 50% off for the entire month of December so it's a great time to stock up on all Lori's digital products!
In honor of our hop Lori is giving away a $20 gift card to her shop to one lucky winner so make sure to head over to her blog and comment for your chance to win. :)
She is also giving away this awesome cutting today at her shop using the code "CHRISTMASTREE" through December 9, 2015. If you haven't checked out her newly updated shop, I would recommend going over and taking a peek. ;)
