A Lawn Fawn Halloween After Dark Card Set

I don't know about you, but I ADORE all things Lawn Fawn so I was thrilled to find some time recently to play with a few of my favorite sets.  I made so many that I am going to break them into a couple different posts and I'm going to call today's cards "Lawn Fawn After Dark".

This first card was actually featured in Paper Crafts Magazine's Stamp It! Card Challenges almost a year ago.  I was just waiting for the right season to finally share it.  ;)  It uses their older Happy Haunting set along with some papers by Pebbles.

Up next is a card using Lawn Fawn's adorable Critters In Costume set.  To create my background I used distress ink, masking off the moon portion.  I then splattered it with water and when it was completely dry, I heat embossed the stars with white embossing powder.

My last card mixes a few sets including Trick or Treat, Heebie Jeebies, Happy Haunting (for my trees) and Home Sweet Home which I gave a completely new look to by coloring them in with black Copic makers.  To create my starry sky I added little dots of gold stickles glitter glue.

Creating night time scenes are super fun!  I hope I've inspired you to give it a try.  Thanks for hanging with me today.  :)

  2. Mendi - what a totally cool card maker you are!! These cards are all After Dark but each one has special touches that make it unique!! I think my favorite is the owl witch on the broom - love the way you did that background - so cool looking!! Kudos to you!! And that last card just has so much realness about it - it looks like a Halloween night feels!! Way to go - you did such an amazing job on each of these cards. Of course the thing I love about the first card is the awesome stitching!! I am always impressed with your stitching on projects!! Hope you have a wonderful day!!
