Lori Whitlock November Hop: Echo Park Story of Fall Layout

Hello and welcome to Lori Whitlock's November blog hop!  You should be arriving here from Corri's blog or if you're just joining us you can start from the beginning at Lori's blog.  :)

Today I have another layout to share using Lori's collection for Echo Park called The Story of Fall.  I wanted to create a second page that would coordinate well in my scrapbook with the page I share last month (seen HERE) so I used a few of the same cutting file to tie them together.

I dressed up my pumpkin die-cut with a leaf leftover from my border and a twine bow.  I frequently turn to tabs to record the date on my page, but this time it helped serve double duty by filling up a bit of blank space I had left when my page was nearly complete.

For my journaling I cut out the base portion of 2 Label Shapes cutting file.  To make it a bit thinner to fit my space, I welded two together to create the length I needed for a 1.25" high label.

For my leaf border I welded several borders together and used the knife feature to cut off one scalloped edge.  i then adhered different patterns behind it using papers from the 6x6 paper pad from the collection.

I hope I've inspired you to document a special Fall tradition or memory.  Today I used the following cut files available in Lori's shop:

This week you can get 30% off all her and Kolette Hall's amazing cutting files and fonts using the code "NOVEMBER" through November 15, 2015.  :)

There's also a one-day sale going on over at Snap.Click.Supply using the code "NOVEMBER".

In honor of our hop Lori is giving away a $20 gift card to her shop to one lucky winner.  :)

She also has an awesome free cutting file today.  You can sign up for the giveaway and get the link for the freebie at Lori's blog.  :)
