Introducing My New Company: Sunny Studio Stamps!

I've been dying to shout some news from the rooftops for a little over two months now.  I have made the decision to launch my own stamp company called Sunny Studio (stamps) featuring high quality photopolymer clear stamps and dies made right here in the good ol' USA.

One day my husband and I were randomly talking about the possibility and it really lit a fire in me.  As a kid I loved to draw and I've always had an obsessive personality so once I get an idea I can go off the deep end with it.  Within a week I had purchased myself some software, taught myself to use it (sort of) and had designed my first set which I named Furever Friends.  It was really born out of my desire to see more kitty products out there, as well as a subject matter I've always enjoyed doodling for my kids to color in.

After that I put it aside for almost a month with no additional designs because I knew I had a lot of other commitments to cross off my crafty "to do" list before I could allow my obsessive personality to get wrapped up in creating more.  My girls and hubby were leaving me alone for 2 weeks in July while they went to Japan (I have been there so many times and Japan in the middle of summer with their high temps and high humidity just aren't for me).  I gave myself a deadline to wrap up all of my other design assignments for the entire month of July by the time they had to leave, just after the 4th of July.

The day they took off I had planned to hug them goodbye at the curb of the airport and anxiously rush home to finally start designing more sets, but my daughter insisted that I come in with them to say goodbye and to have a quick lunch at Panda Express with them.  Now I'm a Christian so I put little belief in fortunes, but I received a fortune in my cookie that day which I like to think was a sweet confirmation from God telling me I was on the right path.  It said "A Financial Investment Will Yield Returns Beyond Your Hopes".

While I definitely read that as more than financial returns,  another part of this story is that I am financing this new business 100% on my own.  I am a stay-at-home mom and have been socking away every penny of birthday and Christmas money, as well as money from design work without touching it for almost 5 years now.  I was saving it for just the right rainy day and I am officially all in.  I have put everything I have into producing my first 8 stamp sets and 6 matching dies so I am praying you love them as much as I have loved creating them!

Without further ado... Here are my first 8 sets:

Sunny Studio Stamps: Fall 2015 Debut collection of Stamps & Dies

I hope you will join me over on the new Sunny Studio blog and sign up for my email list over there.  Starting tomorrow I will be sharing a different card creation every single day as well as hosting a large Blog Hop on September 8th to kick off the official grand opening of the Sunny Studio online store.  I have lined up some pretty talented stampers I've admired for a long time to join in the fun.  In the meantime please stop by the new blog and say hi.  :)

On a side note, I want to assure you that scrapbooking (as well as card making) with some of my favorite designer's products will continue to remain a priority for me so it is my intention to keep up with my personal blog here as well.  ;)

Big Hugs,
