Lawn Fawn Elephant Baby & Snail Mail Critter Cards

Hi there!  I'm squeaking in right under the wire with a couple of cards I created for some fun online challenges going on right now.

Card No. 1:  I've had this idea for a fun background floating in my head for awhile now using Belinda's Borders and sponging on distress ink in coordinating rainbow colors.  For my critter I turned to a sweet snail stamp from Lawn Fawn's Gleeful Gardens set and colored him using my copics and THIS photo as inspiration.  I inked up my hillside border to blend with the background.

Card No. 2:  My next card is a baby boy card mixing the elephants from Critters of The Jungle and Love You Tons stamp sets.  For my background I pulled the mini hearts from three different stamp sets to create the look of cascading hearts.  To form the ground for my little elephants, I cut the speech bubble from masking material and sponged on the same Cornflower Shadow ink I used to stamp my hearts.

Both of these cards were created for the Lawnscaping Challenge Blog for their Challenge No. 107 calling for all sorts of projects with critter stamps.  There are so many wonderful pin worthy entries over there so make sure to head over there and check them out.  :)

I also made the baby boy card with the Simon Says Stamp's Wednesday Challenge in mind to Make It Masculine.
