A Valentine's Day Card Idea for Your Man

For today's Valentine's Day card I thought I would share something a little more playful.  I created this card in response to Paper Craft magazine's call for Valentine's Day cards for men and of course this is where my imagination led me...  LOL!  :)

The shape of the card was cut out on my Silhouette using a cutting file created by Jamie Koay called Girly Set found here.  I then created a shadow of that shape and cut two of them to form my card base.  They are joined together at the straps and scored so that only the bottom portion opens and closes.  I then created the eyelet lace trim by using her assorted bunting decorations found here and adding a bit of Stickled glitter glue to the open dots.  The mini sentiment was stamped with a Papertrey Ink stamp set.  The red polka-dot paper is by Canvas Corp.

Thanks for stopping by!  Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!  I'm going to a church crop with girlfriends tonight and I am so excited for the escape.  ;)

  1. Mendi,
I always see your sweet comments over on the Doodlebug blog and wanted to stop by and see what you've been creating over here. I'm so glad I did! WHat talent you have, I really like your clean but not at all boring style. SO glad I found you, I'm your newest follower :)
