Doodlebug Fun In The Sun Hawaiian Themed Layout

Hello there!  I'm popping in today today with a happy Hawaiian themed layout featuring the brand new Fun In The Sun collection and my new favorite product of theirs called Odds & Ends!
Doodlebug Design Fun In The Sun Hawaiian Dole Pineapple Themed Scrapbook Layout.

The Odds & Ends pack from this collection is loaded with 84 individual cutouts for endless design options!  I used the journaling die-cut to print my journaling on (adhering it to my office paper with washi tape to keep the notebook edge nice and flat as it went through my printer).  I then clipped one of the new darling flamingo paper clips at the top and layered a scene along the bottom using a number of fun die-cuts!

For the bottom half of my layout I cut a strip of the floral paper from the bordered patterned paper to ground my second little scene and title.  Even the banner and title were pulled from the odds & ends pack.  The awesome thing is I barely made a dent in the die-cuts.  There are still so many cute shapes to use on future projects.

Lori Whitlock June Blog Hop: Echo Park Happy Summer Layout

Hello there!  The Lori Whitlock team is back with our monthly blog hop.  You should be arriving here from Corri's blog or if you are just joining in, you can start from the beginning at Lori's blog.  :)

For my project today I pulled out Lori's newest collection for Echo Park called Happy Summer.

I used the Hello Spring Wreath as the jumping off point for my design.  I first cut it out as it is in one solid layer from the green paper and then duplicated the shame and used my knife tool to cut apart the flowers and extra berry sprigs so that I could cut more from extra colors without wasting too much paper.

To add a little more interest I also cut flowers from the Box Card Mason Jar Bouquet file, inked the edges with my distress inks and layered them with foam tape.  Some glossy accents for my red berries and enamels dots and buttons for my flower centers helped me finish off my wreath.

A Doodlebug Mix & Match Layout with Spring Garden

Hello there!  It's my turn on the Doodlebug blog today and I'm sharing a layout showcasing a mix of three favorite collections: Under The Sea, Spring Garden and Kraft In Color.

I have been holding onto these photos for so many years waiting for the perfect collection, but when we decided to showcase how well Doodlebug's papers mix and match, I realized I could create my own perfect collection!

To create the base of my page I turned to a beautiful tone-on-tone lilac print from the Kraft In Color collection.  I then pulled in the pink and grass prints along with the ladybug and grass borders from Spring Garden.  I rounded out my design with some small rainbow strips from Under The Sea. It's one of the few collections that includes lilac in the rainbow so I knew I had to find a way to include them. ;)

I completed my design with some flower icon stickers and some doodle pop stickers from Spring Garden with some hand stitched stems and some cupcake gems added to their centers.

I hope I've inspired you to try mixing some of your favorite Doodlebug collections too!  :)
